The most practical, unvague, essay on a very complex topic. The way out of the maze.

Comment on Turning an Ouch into 'Yes, thank you'

Dr Ruth, I love your blog.
Fact is I just found your website.
You are an amazing teacher.
I miss your meditations.

Comment on Ring, Ring, Ring…Are You There?

Thanks for your comments, Pattijo. Sometimes I feel that all this cell phone communication is just another barrier that people choose to put between themselves and reality, a shield that protects one from what is happening. I remember my first time in a small single engine plane. All that noise and the feeling that we were going to fall out of the sky. I remember that when I finally held my camera before my eyes and began taking pictures that I calmed down and began to enjoy the ride. Is it the same thing for people with their communication devices, that their connection with another being makes them feel safe? Or s it fear that prevents them from participating in the life that is happening before their eyes, a fear that keeps them focused on this little communication device rather than noticing and participating with their immediate surroundings? Very thought provoking, Ruth.

Comment on Aging and Enjoying an Inspired Life

This essay speaks volumes, from one who has experienced the retirement "down" there are concepts to be heard here...listen. Now I don't plan anything I just do what presents its self. I am not sure about a "great age" from here life is great and every moment is great ...what has age to do with it? Live life...to quote a big company..." just do it!"

Comment on Great Lessons, Learned or Lost?

Great story on thinking "outside the Box".
